Your Role: As a Maintenance/Plant Engineer, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the optimal performance of our production equipment and fleet. You will handle everything from preventative maintenance to resolving mechanical issues, utilizing your expertise to reduce downtime and keep operations running efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Perform corrective, planned, and preventative maintenance on production plant equipment to minimize downtime. Carry out predictive maintenance tasks and provide comprehensive reports on findings. Develop, manage, and enhance maintenance schedules for all equipment. Ensure that plant machinery complies with operational and safety regulations. Oversee repairs to the transport fleet and conduct routine 7-weekly vehicle safety inspections. Order necessary parts for both plant equipment and vehicles. Collaborate with on-site contractors to ensure adherence to Health & Safety and environmental standards. Who Were Looking For: We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, excels at hands-on tasks, and proactively addresses technical challenges. If you are passionate about working with equipment, have a solid mechanical background, and are a skilled problem solver. Key Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in a heavy industry or engineering environment. A practical, hands-on approach to troubleshooting and mechanical work, with welding skills a plus. Strong track record in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues to prevent downtime. In-depth knowledge of various production plant equipment. Expertise in planning, scheduling, and documenting maintenance activities.
