Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a quickly growing SME based in Nottingham who are looking to hire an IT Support Technician to join their team and join an environment that offers the opportunity to handle 1st and 2nd line support tickets as well as enabling the successful applicant to undertake project work.
The successful candidate will act as the first point of escalation and provide general assistance for IT on site and complete tasks including actioning support tickets, maintaining company hardware and software, logging incidents and requests, and liaising with third party IT services.
To apply, candidates will need demonstrable 1st and 2nd line IT experience, a genuine passion for IT and support, and strong communication skills. Whilst a driving licence isn’t required to apply for the role, having one plus access to a car is highly desirable due to location of the office.
In return, they are offering a competitive salary between c£28,000 – c£32,000 per annum D.O.E and a generous benefits package that includes company pension and life assurance schemes, free offsite parking nearby to the office, and more!
Roles and Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of escalation and assistance for all employees on site
* Prioritise and action tickets from receiving them through to completion
* Maintain company’s IT hardware, software, and services
* Log and categorise incoming incidents and requests
* Liaise with third party IT service providers
* Provide support both remotely and in-office
* Ensure anti-virus software is up to date
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrable 1st and 2nd line IT support experience
* Genuine passion and interest for IT, supporting colleagues, and cyber security
* Strong communication skills both written and verbally
* Experience administrating CRM Systems (Salesforce) is highly desirable
* Full UK driving licence is highly desirable
Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
