Hays are currently exclusively partnering with a high growth manufacturing SME business based in Chippenham. With a culture built on learning and collaboration, their ambitions are to double in size within three years and the appointment of a Part-Time Financial Controller is testament to this ambition. This is initially a 20-25 hour a week role and offers good flexibility.The role will focus on working closely with the General Manager to help them make the right decisions to steer strategy and aid financial growth. Having said that, this is a very hands-on role and needs someone who is prepared to roll their sleeves up.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & Compliance
* Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow and credit control.
* Oversee audits, internal controls, and ensure legal compliance.
* Deliver accurate monthly, annual, and statutory reporting.
* Submit consolidated data by working day five.
* Manage financial transactions including ledgers, payroll, inventory and general entries.
* Handle VAT, PAYE, corporation tax and R&D tax relief claims.
* Drive process improvements and manage system upgrades, documentation, and training.
* Support Business Management System and ISO compliance.
