We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dynamic teams.
The Role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering planned learning activities to groups or whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
2. Assisting in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
3. Supporting individual pupils or small groups to help them achieve their learning goals.
4. Assisting with the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
5. Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create a positive and effective learning environment.
6. Providing pastoral care and support to pupils as needed.
Requirements:
7. HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
8. Experience working in a primary school setting.
9. Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
12. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
13. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the varying needs of the school.
