Director of IT Operations & Service Winchester with hybrid working and regular trips to our St Albans Head Office Highly Competitive Package As our Director of IT Operations & Service, you'll be a key member of the CIO's Senior Leadership Team with accountability for delivering business as usual IT operations and support services across our UK and International businesses. The ambition within the function is to ensure we are fully supporting the productivity of our business colleagues. You will produce a long-term strategy (5-10 years) and will be accountable for delivery of the roadmap. We will transition from a reactive to a proactive approach by maturing ITOM procedures/tools in addition to maturing and continuously improving the ways of working and governance (ITIL). Premier Foods is growing in international markets. Currently, the critical mass is low such that we are supporting this division through our team based in Winchester on UK office hours. At some point, we will need to deploy a new Operating Model to accommodate the growing needs of our overseas business. Premier Foods are planning to transition to RISE with SAP (S4 HANA) in FY26 via a technical upgrade. You will be key in working with colleagues and partners to scope the operating model to support this platform and thereafter, play a pivotal part in successfully delivering the transition into support and ultimately managing and optimising SAP Services in BAU. The Key Requirements Demonstrable experience in IT Operations and Service Management, with 5 years in a "Head of" level role within an SAP environment Experience in developing medium-long term strategy/roadmaps for IT Operations and Service Management Strong understanding of key ITIL processes and experience of establishing the measures/benchmarks for the function, maturing and continuously improving the operating model in accordance with best practice and designing new operating models to support service introduction Experience of working within a matrix organisation including 3rd parties to provide the services Evidence of having managed a departmental budget including the annual cycles of forecasting and periodic re-forecasting together with the management of IT BAU contracts Solid experience in transitioning reactive ITOM into proactive models Experience of designing and deploying international operating models Track record in supporting SAP BASIS & GRC Why join us Joining Premier Foods, you'll be part of a business that is working towards enriching life through food, leveraging innovation with brand growth and flawless execution.
