Practice Type: A veterinary practice that has established itself amongst the local community in Swansea and now provides care to thousands of pets each year
Facilities: They are a modern practice with a good range of equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy (and rigid endoscopy), Ligasure, full orthopaedic kit, and dental radiography
Role : Due to their ever-expanding caseload, they are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them. You will join a team of progressive and knowledgeable Vets with multiple certificate holders. It would be great if you have an orthopaedic bias, however, this isnt essential.
Hours :
1. 4 daysperweek
2. No out-of-hours (OOH)
3. Good surgical and medical caseload
4. Weekends on a rota of 1 in 6(Saturday 9 am-1 pm)
Support:
5. They have meeting days once a month where they block off consultations and meet as a team. This allows them to share information and ideas they promote active case discussion between vets. They also time given for individuals to focus on projects they want to work on, or the time is used for personal development.
6. They offer time off in lieu of any overtime worked and give associates opportunities to take on additional paid responsibilities, they also run an employee of the month scheme and practice book club in their spare time.
The Package:
7. Salary up to £60,000 p/a (DOE)
