Property/Estates Manager – North Devon Salary: up to £56,505 per annum We are recruiting on behalf of our client who are looking to recruit an experienced and Property Manager to lead their property team. A prominent public sector organisation, they are looking for a skilled Property/Estates Manager to oversee the management of their diverse property portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a key role in the effective management and strategic performance of their land and property assets. Key Responsibilities: Leading and managing a multidisciplinary team, including Estates, Building Services, Engineers, and Parking. Ensuring the efficient operation of the Council’s land and property portfolio, driving performance in line with their Commercialisation Strategy. Managing day-to-day property operations and service delivery to ensure all functions are carried out to the highest standards. Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, tenants, contractors, and external partners. Key Skills & Experience Required: A relevant management qualification or experience in managing a specialist technical team. Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience. A RICS-accredited degree in Estate Management, Land Management, Valuation, or a related field. RICS Registered Valuer status (desirable). Strong knowledge of property law, land management, estate management, and valuation principles. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
