Job summary A fantastic opportunity has arisen at London North West University Health Care NHS Trust for an Associate Chief Nurse (Band 8d).The Associate Chief Nurse is accountable to the Chief Nurse primarily responsible for the provision of a high quality nursing service. They will leadon the delivery of the Nursing Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals strategy implementing and monitoring measures to provide assurance onthe quality and safety of nursing midwifery and AHP practice. The post holder is a member of the Corporate Nursing Team assuming overallresponsibility for nursing clinical effectiveness including the ward accreditation framework. The post will appeal to a senior nursing manager with current or previous experience ofleadership within the NHS at a senior level. They will need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of complex healthcare delivery, servicetransformation and being able to develop collaborative partnerships to improve service delivery. A successful and proven track record of workingin a senior nurse leadership role in an acute setting is paramount.
