You will work collaboratively with Merseycare Mental Health Team, Change Grow Live (recovery staff), and HMPPS staff to ensure the best possible care is provided to the patients.
Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse, your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities such as:
1. Supporting multi-disciplinary teams including:
1. Diabetic retinopathy screening
2. AAA screening
3. Ultrasounds and X-Rays
2. Medication rounds and dispensing
3. Emergency response situations
4. Patient assessments
5. Nurse-led clinics, including:
1. NHS Health Checks
2. Immunisations and Vaccinations
3. NHS Bowel Screening
4. Wound and Tissue Viability assessments
6. Assessing new patients who have just arrived at the establishment for the first time
7. Complete clinical assessments
8. Triaging acutely unwell patients

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse Level 1 - Adult / General/Mental Health
Knowledge and Experience
* Knowledge of current healthcare issues
* Knowledge of clinical governance audit, risk management, and quality agenda
* Competent in clinical practice e.g., phlebotomy, ECG monitoring
* Worked in a complex environment managing deteriorating patients
* Understanding and application of confidentiality
* Experience of working within a Health & Justice environment
* Experience of health needs assessment/Triage
* Management / Minor Injuries
* Experience of using SystmOne or willing to undertake training
