Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen to recruit a motivated and experienced Team Administrator to join our busy Crisis and Home based Treatment Team, within Acute Mental Health Services. We are located within Lanchester Road Hospital and West Park Hospital. The role is to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of the role will be to provide full administrative support to the clinical team.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have a good education, secretarial skills, sound IT knowledge and experience, with competency in Microsoft Office packages being essential. Experience of working in a clinical area is desirable. The ability to communicate effectively with patients who may experience communication difficulties is an essential requirement of the role. Also required is a methodical and flexible approach to work, good team working skills, the willingness to perform repetitive tasks accurately and to remain calm under pressure.

Person Specification
* Qualifications Essential
o Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.
o Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role.
* Experience Essential
o Experience of working in an administrative environment (diary management, filing systems, meeting coordination, minute taking, data input, collating and presenting information).
o Customer Service experience (face to face, answering calls, correspondence).
o Experience of organising competing demands and workloads.
o Experience of setting up and maintenance of administrative systems and processes.
o Experience of working autonomously and proactively.
* Knowledge Essential
o Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
o Understanding of data protection and the need for confidentiality and how to maintain this.
o Knowledge of office systems and processes.
* Disclosure and Barring Service Check
