The Team:
Join a cross-functional agile delivery team comprising 4 Engineers, 2 QA Engineers, an Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, and an Agile Delivery Manager.
Role Overview:
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET), you will be embedded in a technical QA role, contributing to unit and component-level testing and mocking to reduce the dependency on end-to-end tests. The project focuses on shifting testing lower down the test pyramid, decoupling tests using microservices, employing contract testing with Pact, and minimizing reliance on large end-to-end tests.
About You:
* Proficient in writing Java code daily (Non negotiable)
* Experienced in API testing and automation with Rest Assured
* Familiar with Wiremock or similar tools
* Knowledgeable in AWS, particularly leveraging S3 and CloudFormation
* Skilled in managing testing within CI/CD environments, particularly Jenkins
* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
* Experience with Kafka or contract testing is highly desirable
* Payment or FinTech experience is useful but not essential

Hiring Process:
* 45 minutes: Interview with the Head of QA
