Role Overview
You will be an integral part of GPS group supporting to deliver a major transformation project. As a Migration Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing the migration of clients to target solutions. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including client teams, servicing, Operations and Technology to ensure a seamless transition from legacy systems to new platforms.
Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end migration process, including scoping, planning, execution, and post-migration support.
* Develop and maintain detailed migration plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the integrity of the migration process.
* Act as a key internal point of escalation, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Identify, raise and mitigate risks and issues to minimize impact on project timelines and objectives.
* Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings, providing status updates to stakeholders and ensuring alignment across teams.
* Management of internal resources and external stakeholders.
* Conduct testing and validation of migrated data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Prepare and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users regarding new systems and processes.
* Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
What we are looking for
* Proven experience in migration or transformation projects, preferably within the financial services sector.
* Experience of working closely with client-facing and client-impacting initiatives.
* Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
* Tact, diplomacy, and the ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
* Proven ability to undertake detailed analysis of technical designs and translate into relevant client communication material.
* Understanding of transaction banking solutions and various models of client deployment.
