HOURS: Full-Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Ongoing Know your Customer (OKYC) Team which is made up of c.250 colleagues across 3 locations. You'll be part of a wider team who carries out KYC on existing customers for Business & Commercial Banking and Corporate & Institutional Banking business areas. The Ongoing Know your Customer Team is part of Client Services which has over c.1000 colleagues with hubs across the UK. An area whilst complex in nature - our teams consistently provide an excellent service for our clients through a high-performance culture.
Core Purpose
This is an opportunity to join a team of risk specialists supporting our LBCM North American Clients, responsible for assessing and investigating standard / high risk factors and recommending whether to maintain clients.
You'll work with other Assistant Managers covering our risk specialisms, including Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons, Fraud, Adverse Media, Anti Money Laundering due diligence on standard and high risk clients; Correspondent Banking due diligence; and in-depth investigations triggered by suspicious client activity.

What You’ll Need
In order to thrive in this role, it is essential that you have a strong track record of consistently achieving outstanding outcomes. This entails paying meticulous attention to detail and delivering top-notch outputs that meet the needs of your collaborators, customers, partners, and team members. Furthermore, you'll be relied upon as a key source of information and procedural advice.
Previous experience with KYB/KYC Policies will be required, whilst US Regulations would be desirable its not required, full training will be provided.
Capabilities
* Knowledge of US Economic Crime Regulations, or a passion to learn about, with a deep understanding of UK ECP Regulations.
* An investigative mentality, an ability to work optimally across teams and engage with business functions and clients.
* An ability to produce clearly articulated reports and present your recommended next steps for approval.
* Be able to prioritise workloads to achieve case review targets meeting compliance standards.
* Track record of personal development.
* Influencing relationship teams to support with collating review requirements.
* Engaging with senior stakeholders to support risk decisioning process.
* Ability to prioritise effectively between scheduled and event-driven activity.
* Attention to detail in order to collate and analyse complex information in order to highlight areas of concern.
