Sales Order Processor Location: Sheffield Salary: £24,000 £26,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Order Processor to join a well-established and busy sales office within the construction and manufacturing sector. This role will be key in ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders, as well as supporting the wider team with administrative and customer service tasks. Key Responsibilities: Accurately process customer purchase orders against quotations and agreements Liaise with customers regarding discrepancies or delays Produce order acknowledgements, delivery notes, invoices, and other relevant documentation Generate works instructions for production teams Prepare commercial invoices for international orders Respond to customer queries via phone and email Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment Requirements: Experience in a busy sales office environment GCSE Maths and English (grades AC or equivalent) Strong verbal and written communication skills Methodical, organised, and able to prioritise tasks effectively Computer literate, particularly with Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM High level of accuracy and attention to detail Capable of managing multiple queries while meeting deadlines Desirable: Background in construction or manufacturing Experience in account management and converting quotes to orders Ability to read and interpret technical drawings This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a can-do attitude, looking to join a dynamic team and contribute to a fast-paced working environment.
