Area to be covered: London & South East
Remuneration: £46,000 + £9,500 bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Garage & Front Doors will involve:
1. Area Sales Manager position selling a comprehensive range of high quality manufactured garage and front doors including up & over doors, sliding doors, roller doors, and front doors.
2. Spending all of your time selling into national merchants, regional merchants, independent merchants, buying groups, developers, specialist garage & door merchants, and wholesalers such as Elliots, Travis Perkins & Jewson.
3. Inheriting a patch currently turning £3m-£4m.
4. Dealing with order values ranging from around £1k - £60k.
5. Majority of your time will be spent managing existing accounts, with the remaining portion spent generating new business relationships.
6. Organising your own diary and visits to develop relationships with merchants.
7. Liaising with internal support staff and marketing team to maximise sales within your territory.
8. Will require on average 1 night away a week.
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Garage & Front Doors with:
1. Field-based sales experience within the construction industry.
2. Consideration for any building material/product background.
3. A track record of working for or selling to builders merchants, including national, independent, and specialist merchants.
4. Experience in developing long-term relationships with clients.
5. A proven track record of stability within your career.
6. A genuine ‘get up and go’ work ethic.
7. Results-oriented, hungry, and enthusiastic.
