Job Description: Terex Ballymoney is currently recruiting for a Junior Buyer. This role would be suitable for an enthusiastic apprentice or graduate who wants to kick start their career Reporting to the Purchasing Manager you will work as part of the wider operations team to ensure a seamless flow of material to production by ensuring the right parts are delivered on time. Roles & Responsibilities Purchasing administration; Process Purchase Orders, Resolve invoice discrepancies, Maintain MRP system Open order book management Development and maintenance of supplier relationships Maintenance of site budget tracker Control room meeting attendance Maintenance of shortage tracker Any other reasonable duties or requests The successful candidate should Be confident in the use of Microsoft packages, specifically excel Have a business studies or related discipline qualification (or studying towards) Have excellent attention to detail Have exceptional communication skills both written and verbal Be confident in their approach to problem solving Be comfortable working with numbers, specifically financial information Be confident working on their own initiative Ability to work in a fast paced environment All applicants must demonstrate through their application form how they meet the criteria for the position applied for.
