Glass Estimator & Account Manager
Our client specialises in bespoke architectural glass for the commercial construction sector, delivering tailored solutions for contractors and high-end fit-out companies. In 2022, they launched a bespoke shower brand offering a variety of shower screens, wetroom panels, bath screens, and sliding door systems, available in multiple hardware finishes and glass types.
Due to rapid growth, our client is seeking a Glass Estimator and Account Manager to support the expansion of their bespoke shower brand. The role, which is full-time and office-based, includes estimating and processing orders, managing customer accounts, and ensuring seamless project delivery from start to finish.

* Working hours alternate weekly from 08:00 - 5:00 and 08:30 - 5:30 Monday to Thursday with Fridays always remaining the same hours of 08:00 - 5:00.
* Salary: Up to 32,000 (depending on experience).

Position Overview (The job will consist of 2 main parts):
Estimating and Processing Orders:
* Respond to estimate requests within 24 hours using in-house software and create illustrative drawings with design software.
* Follow up on all quotes to ensure the customer has the necessary information to place an order.
* Liaise with the sales team to discuss updates, quote modifications, sample requests, and potential future projects.
* Confirm job details in writing once accepted, including dates, payment terms, and delivery/installation conditions.
* Issue pro-forma invoices for non-credit customers and check credit limits for credit customers.
* Generate paperwork for in-house manufacturing (cutting, polishing, shaping, etc.) and schedule delivery/collection with the logistics team.
* Schedule fittings with the PM team if required and keep customers updated on job progress.
* Follow up with satisfaction reports for completed jobs.
Customer Account Management:
* Act as the go-to person for customers regarding orders, design changes, specifications, and technical advice on showers.
* Manage 5-10 estimate requests per day, while handling other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Assist with estimates for non-shower products when needed.
Position Requirements:
* At least 18 months of experience in estimating bathrooms.
* Be familiar with doing take-offs from architectural/technical drawings.
* Be a highly competent user of Excel spreadsheets to create accurate, detailed, professional quotes that combine glass specification with hardware, installation, delivery etc.
* Will understand the need to pick up the phone and speak to customers to clarify missing elements in the tender, aesthetic requirements, build-ups etc.
* Will understand the importance of and be highly organised in digital folder management.
