Key Responsibilities
Manage fire safety programs, conduct audits and inspections, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and identify risks to safeguard our community and infrastructure.
About the Role
Oversee fire safety and statutory compliance across all college properties, applying expertise in regulations and risk management to maintain a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety or equivalent, Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH General Certificate), and relevant estates or facilities management qualification (desirable). At least three years’ experience in fire risk assessments, audits, and compliance is essential.
A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required. Occasional out-of-hours work and work at heights or in confined spaces may be necessary.
