Cover Supervisor

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to support students and enhance their learning experience? We have multiple positions available for Cover Supervisors in Burnley, with part-time, full-time, temporary, and permanent roles to suit your needs. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for education and supporting students in their learning journey. The key function of this role is to cover teacher and teaching assistant absence across the school. There will be an expectation to deliver and support planning of lessons in the case of sickness, as well as providing pastoral support where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
2. Manage student behaviour to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
3. Follow lesson plans and provide support to students as required
4. Promote a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere
5. Report any issues or concerns to relevant staff
Ideal Candidate:
1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
2. Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
3. Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic
4. Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
