Aramark UK is currently recruiting for a capable and committed ER Specialist who can work in a high volume, fast paced environment as part of our HR team. Working as a team you will provide regular advice and support on employment practices and you will partner the Operations and Divisional Head of HR/HRBP’s to influence and implement culture and process improvements identified via employment law changes, business activity, case trends and understanding of line management capability. What’s in it for you: Competitive salary and package Hybrid role ideally, but open to remote working for the right candidate Generous annual leave that increases in line with service, with the opportunity to buy extra days Defined contribution pension scheme and life assurance benefits Access to an employee benefit scheme that offers discounts across hundreds of retail and leisure providers Employee Assistance Programme and in-house Mental Health Champions FOOD A plethora of opportunities to attend in-house events and try out the culinary genius of our teams (we are a food business after all) Key responsibilities: • Provide coaching, advice and guidance to line managers and employees on a range of people management activities including Absence, Performance, Investigations and Disciplinary matters, Grievances, Flexible Working Requests and Reasonable adjustments • Responsible for ensuring allocated cases are managed in the best possible way in terms of adherence to policy, process and employment law and in a reasonable timeframe. • Escalation of risk to relevant stakeholders and proactively problem solving together to reduce risk and agree solutions. • Policy Development and provision of supporting documentation • Creating and delivering training packages on ER topics • Respond to ACAS early conciliation claims, liaising with external solicitors on Employment Tribunal Matters to ensure a strong and measured case assessment and plan can be devised. • Supporting the business with activities to prepare for and react to employment law changes • Reporting on key ER trends and working with the operations to understand root cause and opportunities to improve. • Sharing key learnings with the ER Team and wider business and implementing any identified improvements • Supporting TUPE and Change Activities • Providing cover and support for the wider ER Team Key Requirements: • Experience within an ER Administration focussed role managing high volumes case loads • Excellent understanding and experience of working with HR systems • Credibly provides sound advice, accurate information and timely support to all stakeholders • Proactive approach to keeping up to date with policy, process and legislation • Ability to build strong working relationships/networks with all stakeholders and maintain a high degree of integrity • Confidentiality with the ability to handle sensitive situations within data protection legislation If you are applying for this role and you already work for Aramark, you must notify your line manager before submitting your application.
