As the Technical Director, you will be responsible for all technical and engineering functions in the business. You will lead and develop a growing team of engineers across various design and development projects.
Your responsibilities as a Technical Director:
* Lead all technical and engineering functions in the business.
* Develop and manage a growing team of engineers on various design and development projects.
* Improve technological output at track events to ensure seamless event delivery.
* Create workflows from ideation to testing to customer deployment for all engineering components.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to define and execute the product development roadmap.
* Provide strategic leadership and drive the long-term technical strategy for engineering and product development.
Your current experience which will help you as a Technical Director:
* Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Over 10 years of experience in high-performing engineering roles specialising in mechanical and electrical/electronics engineering.
* Proven project planning experience from ideation to delivery.
* Experience leading teams across multiple engineering disciplines with hands-on capabilities.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply lateral thinking to complex technical challenges.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills suited to a start-up environment.
