Locum Consultant Haematologist - Lab Consultant, interest in Myeloma
Consultant Haematologist
Laboratory Consultant with an interest in Myeloma (8.5 PA)
The successful candidate will join our existing friendly team of haemato-oncology consultants (FTE 9) and participate in a 1:13 rota supported by a 2 tier SHO & SpR on call rota. This is currently an 8.5 PA role and it is hoped in the future this could be expanded to 10PA.
The post-holder will be primarily laboratory-based, but will be required to do one myeloma clinic a week and contribute to a 1-in-13 on-call rota. It is anticipated the post-holder will lead the Dorset HMDS and also be the laboratory lead.
