My client is a well-established, profitable and privately owned Construction Main Contractor who successfully deliver projects within the heritage and sectors. Due to planned growth, they are looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to their expanding team out of their offices in Londons West End. Reporting to the Divisional Director and working in partnership with the commercial team, they will be responsible for the timely delivery of several schemes concurrently to budget and specification. Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Set the highest possible standards of leadership in promotion of HSEQ procedures and best practice. Prepare and update detailed programmes of work and communicate them with the site teams and head office to ensure they can be delivered without delay. Ensure that weekly reviews of safety, progress, budgets, and planning are completed with the site teams. Liaise with Directors, Safety Advisors, Quantity Surveyors and Engineers to ensure clear communication and achievement of project deliverables. Identify and fulfil resource requirements, focused on business priorities and within budget. Provide clear communication, direct management support and reviews to teams under management. Chair and attend internal and external pre-start, construction, commercial, engineering and HSEQT meetings as required. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients delivery, management and leadership teams. Essential Competence & Training: SMSTS NVQ Level 6 Diploma CSCS Black Card Relevant sector experience in a similar role Good time management skills Good interpersonal skills at all levels of an organisation Collaborative approach to working IT literate and a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft based programmes to include Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook A full job description can be provided on request.
