15 months fixed apprenticeship as Apprentice Healthcare Support Worker
Are you a caring, kind, and committed individual who is interested in starting a career in healthcare? Are you enthusiastic to learn and develop your qualifications while learning in practice? If yes, this is the opportunity for you!
Healthcare Support Workers are the front line of the healthcare system and are a vital part of the team in supporting patients in different clinical areas. We are looking for keen, compassionate, and dedicated Apprentice Healthcare Support Workers to join our team at West Middlesex University Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Apprentice HCSWs are individuals without prior qualifications and experience related to the healthcare setting, but are ready to start learning while being in paid employment in the same role.
As this is an apprenticeship role, you will be required to undertake Off-the-Job/in-house training, online learning, and one-to-one sessions to develop your skills to prepare you for your End Point Assessment. You will also have tripartite reviews with your experienced Practice Development Nurse and line manager. On completion of your apprenticeship, there will be various career progression opportunities available such as nursing, radiography, digital and technology, data, or business administration.
Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is proud to be one of the top performing and safest trusts in England. We have two main acute hospital sites—Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital, plus our award-winning clinics across North West London and beyond.
