As a Data Management - Vice President in Chief Data Office Data Quality Markets team you will join a team focused on delivering business impact through transformation of Data Quality management. You will be working with stakeholders across the Corporate & Investment Bank, other Line of Bussineses and Corporate Functions to ensure fit-for-purpose data, looking to leverage best practice across the industry and other J.P. Morgan business units. Job responsibilities Demonstrates strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data lineage and metadata management concepts Performs deep business analysis, including root cause investigations on specific high profile data quality issues Understands key requirements from the business and organize project activities to optimize these requirements/initiatives Displays thought leadership in data management techniques and methodologies Communicates and achieve buy-in from stakeholders across the bank including Front Office, Technology, Data Science, Operations, Controls Translates large amounts of analysis into high level takeaways for senior management, with the goal to tell a story that will resonate with them Achieves senior management buy-in for project activities and next steps Discovers and documents data-lineage to trace the end-to-end data journey from point of creation to consumption Provides leadership and management oversight to junior team members working on data initiatives Leverages productivity tools such as Alteryx and visualization tools such as Tableau/Qlikview to analyze large dataset to draw inferences Creates data profiling and data quality rules leveraging data quality tools like Collibra, Informatica and other emerging tools Required qualification, capabilities, and skills Previous experience in Financial Services Background in Ops, Finance or Tech with Project Management/Business Analysis skills Experience in Data quality, Data lineage and Metadata management Strong Stakeholder & Project Management skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Capacity to think laterally and convey an understanding of the big picture Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing large data sets in Excel (pivots, formulas, charts, etc.) Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills - candidate will be dealing with stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority across Corporate/Firmwide, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Technology teams Self-starter, able to work autonomously, with strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high standard Basic understanding of the company's business practices and familiarity with the company's products and services Experience in leading and managing a team Preferred qualification, capabilities, and skills Experience in Corporate & Investment Bank and Chief Data Office/Data Quality organization Experience in querying database/data stores for data analysis. Exposure to tools/technologies such as Alteryx/Tableau/Qlikview/Python/Informatica/Collibra Deep understanding of project management lifecycle and Technology software development lifecycle
