GDPR Representative - Part-Time Location – Dunton, SS15 Salary - Up to £14,000 per annum Part-Time - Permanent – Hybrid (20 hpw) - Flexible hours, but ideally 1 day per week office. What You’ll Be Doing: As the GDPR Representative for our client, you will be responsible for qualifying, coordinating and taking overall responsibility for the timely provision of any Data Subject Access Requests (“DSAR”s) submitted by customers, employees, prospects and other parties across all the different impacted applications. Our client has a vast number of applications in use holding personally identifiable information or PII data; the resolution of each GDPR request can be extremely complex, requiring central and local coordination and tracking of multiple tasks and status updates. It will be imperative that this role meets the service level required by GDPR regulation of 30 days to resolve GDPR requests. During a Typical Day, You’ll: Receive GDPR request cases, update their status, continuously monitor requests and check accuracy of request raised Verify the classification of the request (including clarification with the customer) and request clarification from CRC if required. Verify customer IDs, send out acknowledgements, complex letters, and ID expiring letters Administer the process using appropriate current tools available to ensure an audit trail Liaise with appropriate Business areas e.g. Business Application Data Owner (BADO) to obtain desired result for example, data deletion or copies of customer records within appropriate timescales including follow ups as required Review customer record for redactions Prepare appropriate response template Produce record of completion for each request Inform data subject that their request has been fulfilled Update case status and inform CRC to close the case Support the team on OT and Salesforce (SF) - working with DP and business areas as required. Work with the US team to make iterations to the web form/ One Trust and support in testing functionality Provide training sessions for European NSC Coordinators Direct non applicable GDPR items to the DP team Assist with ad hoc queries as required to support the wider DP Teams in Europe and Globally Process deviation activities Pass the case to the DPO or Data Protection champion in the case that\: The data subject making the request has previously made the same request The request is accompanied by a complaint The request concerns Sensitive Personal Data Communicate standards and methods to ensure the correct templates and communication methods are adopted with the parties involved in the process What You Bring to the Role: Educated to GCSE/O Grades/N/SVQ’s Level 1&2. Practiced level of administrative experience Practiced level of customer service experience Entry level experience of working in line with data protection (GDPR) Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong communication skills High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail Excellent administration and organisational skills Previous use of CRM tools What You Can Expect: 22 days Annual leave to start, increases by 1 day on anniversary of start date for the first 5 years, meaning a potential maximum of 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
