We are representing a vibrant primary school in the heart of Aldwincle, dedicated to providing a supportive and engaging environment for its pupils. As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting our teaching staff to deliver high-quality education to our pupils. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupils with special educational needs and contribute to the overall development of the school.
Role:
We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis starting in September. As the successful HLTA, you will cover classes across all primary year groups as well as run small intervention groups to support raising attainment. You must be able to adapt teaching to cater for varied groups of pupils and effectively manage behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Facilitate small group activities and interventions to enhance student progress.
* Support students with special educational needs or additional learning requirements.
* Help with the planning and organization of teaching materials.
* Contribute to the school's values, goals, and overall mission.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 6 months UK education-based experience.
* DBS check (or willing to undergo one).
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage expectations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the school environment.
