This is a full-time, one-year fixed term role with hybrid working, and a salary of £28,193 – £32,104 per annum.

Your Role Will Involve
The council has embarked upon an exciting programme of cross-functional projects across all Directorates, that need to be completed at a fast but considered pace. To support this, we are recruiting a temporary Project Support Officer to join our Corporate Projects team and support the team in delivering to a portfolio of exciting transformational projects.
1. Providing administrative support to Programme and Project Managers, which includes arranging, attending and note taking at meetings, liaising with project teams to update, capture and follow up on outstanding actions.
2. Documenting and maintaining project records and information including toolkits, action logs, project plans and risk and issues logs.
3. Identifying, recording and escalating matters relating to project risk, issues, and assumptions to Project Managers.
4. Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally including partners.
5. Producing monthly reports, charts and data for various project boards.
What We Are Looking For
1. A motivated individual with a background in project support or business support functions.
2. A knowledge of project management processes.
3. An advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications. Experience of using PowerBI, whilst not essential, would be an advantage.
4. A flexible individual who can work on multiple tasks simultaneously supporting Programme and Project Managers.
5. Previous experience of working to tight deadlines.
6. Good communication skills to liaise across Service areas and teams.
