We are partnered with an organisation in the healthcare industry who are seeking a professional and experienced Payroll Manager to join their large & busy payroll department on a full time, permanent basis.
Reporting into the Head of Payroll and working alongside another Payroll Manager, this role will have an initial focus on leading on a new payroll system implementation, with a longer term BAU focus.
Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the Head of Payroll with day to day management of the team
2. Conducting 1:1s and appraisals
3. KPI reporting
4. Processing of high volume & complex payrolls on a weekly & monthly basis
5. Deputise for the Head of Payroll as required
6. Payroll year end duties
7. Reviews processes and recommending improvements
8. Lead and support on the new system implementation and training of the team where required
Experience required:
1. Strong UK payroll experience
2. Exposure to high volume & complex payrolls
3. Strong leadership & people management experienced
4. Experience of implementing a new payroll system
5. CIPP qualification
6. Intermediate Excel skills
7. Workday payroll experience is desirable
