We are looking for: Early Years Officer (Nursery Nurse) Term time 38 weeks, 36.66 hours per week Hourly Rate - £12.35 - £12.95 Actual Salary- £19830 - £20793 Per Annum Scale 4: £23543 - £24686 Pro Rata The Role: We are looking to appoint a qualified (Level 3), caring and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Butterflies. You should have at least 3 years post qualifying experience in an Early Years setting. You will be required to work as a team and individually to provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment, encouraging children to learn and making an impact on their lives. As a keyworker you will actively contribute to the planning and delivery of the Early Years Curriculum.
Butterflies Nursery aims to be a provider of outstanding Early Years Care and Education. We have a really great opportunity for an experienced Early Years Officer to join our Butterflies team. Requirements: Possession of relevant qualification, for example NNEB Certificate or NVQ Level 3 or BTEC in Childcare (or other equivalent level qualification).
First Aid certificate.
Ability to observe, record and report on childrens welfare and development.
Ability to work positively and co-operatively as part of a team.
Ability to be flexible in attendance when required.
Ability to contribute to the planning and teaching of the early years curriculum.
Ability to work carefully within agreed procedures, including those relating to health, safety, hygiene, child protection and staffing ratios.
