Programme Manager

We are recruiting for a Programme Manager who will ensure the delivery of aerospace projects for clients. You will be responsible for customer interaction and managing all operational and financial aspects of projects. This will involve costs, pricing, profit, working capital, and customer service.
Role Requirements – Programme Manager
* Demonstrate clear leadership to deliver outstanding customer service, enabling short and long-term growth.
* Utilise the company account management tools, CRM systems, ERP systems, and comply with the company's processes to maintain strict account governance.
* Maintain and develop wide customer relationships to ensure a very high level of Net Promoter Scores.
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the customer, company, and the industry to deliver true customer value.
* Ensure that all business is maintained at high levels of gross margin and operating profit.
* Ensure that all tooling, non-recurring costs, and company labour are sold/delivered profitably, with timely collection of income.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial forecasting (Revenue, Order Intake, and Order Book) within the current month, quarter, and year outlook.
* Ensure excess and obsolete material claims are collected in a timely manner.
* Take responsibility for the closure of timely and accurate customer pricing deviations.
* Maintain and execute customer contracts to eliminate any risk.
* Conduct regular customer meetings, including monthly meetings, quarterly business reviews, and strategic business reviews.
The ideal candidate for the Programme Manager role would have:
* A degree or equivalent work experience in directly related fields, with thorough knowledge of the customer and their market. Direct Project Management experience in electronic manufacturing or a directly related field.
* Proven project management experience, with qualifications in Agile or Prince2 methodology desirable.
* Ability to read a P&L and Balance Sheet, calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
* Ability to collect data, solve practical problems, and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
* Ability to use office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, Gantt charts, slide presentations, internet browsers, email, and business systems software (CRM, ERP).
Some UK and occasional international travel may be required.
