HR Manager Employer: St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi Academy Trust Location: initially based, at Bishop Ellis School, Thurmaston Leicester Hours: 37 hours per week/52 Weeks Per Year Position: Permanent Salary: £44,711 - £48,710 per annum (Band S2/35-42) Start Date: To be Confirmed Closing date: 0900 am Monday 9th December Interview Date: To Be confirmed This is an exciting and unique opportunity to lead a small HR team of HR professionals, within a successful Catholic multi academy trust (CMAT). The CMAT, is part of the Diocese of Nottingham and we are looking for an exceptional HR professional to drive the HR strategy of the trust and deliver outstanding centralised HR services to all our stakeholders. Working closely with the Director of People for the three CMATs and the Executive Team at the St Thomas Aquinas CMAT, the successful candidate will drive the HR Strategy to support the workforce changes that will deliver our aim of an outstanding education for all the young people in our schools. You will manage and deliver a forward thinking, responsive and progressive HR service, whilst ensuring that all academies in the CMAT are compliant with the relevant HR policies and procedures. The successful candidate will need to be CIPD qualified at Level 5 (or have equivalent experience), with proven HR experience, knowledge of schools’ terms and conditions of employment and experience of working with trade unions.
