Salary: £37,948.38 Pro Rata (£46,803 FTE)

Are you ready to join an organisation that helps thousands of young people a year as they transition to adulthood? Do you like systems, processes & compliance and supporting people to understand and follow them?
We are looking to find a driven and collaborative leader to work primarily from our Youth Centre in Exeter, Newton Abbot or Exmouth depending on your home address. You will be joining us at the beginning of a new era for our organisation, supporting the evolution of our Services to youth people.
In this role, you will work alongside leadership colleagues to ensure our staff and volunteers are looked after, developed and perform to their best ability. You will also bring that quality mindset into our provision and lead on our evidence base and impact modelling for a wide variety of services, leading on the delivery for some. Key activities to expect
.Contribute to the strategic direction of Space Youth Services, embedding our culture, EDI and values across all teams and services
.Understand what good looks like for our organisation and be able to translate that to staff and uphold our ambition to be excellent.
.Work with the Board and Leadership Team to develop, implement and monitor the organisation’s short, medium and long term Workforce Development plan
.Fulfill Space’s Lead investigator role
.Lead a small HR & workforce development team to ensure all related tasks are efficiently and effectively carried out
.Collaborating with strategic leads to manage staffing levels and capacity in line with payroll, vacancies and recruitment
.Lead a small team to ensure safe and responsible recruitment, induction and retention of our volunteers
.Instill a deeper understanding and use of evidence in our work. Utilising national and original methodologies to ensure our Youth Work delivery is driven by quality.
.Support staff with our evaluation framework, and tools to ensure reporting is accurate, timely and robust.
.Work with colleagues to secure agreed national kitemarks and/or quality frameworks for our organisation.
