We are now recruiting for a Geotechnical Engineer with good experience in offshore geotechnics and foundations design. This is a long term contract role, working on behalf of our client, a global engineering and constuction contractor working within the offshore wind sector, based at their office in London. Job Description: You will be responsible for planning, executing, and interpreting geotechnical investigations to support the design and installation of offshore structures, including wind turbine foundations, oil & gas platforms, subsea pipelines, and seabed installations. The role involves interpretation, data analysis, and foundation design/installation recommendations while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Skills/experience required: 5-10 years experience in offshore geotechnics and foundations design - essential. Bachelors or Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering. Good knowledge of offshore drilling, CPT interpretation, soil-structure interaction and geotechnical data interpretation. Experience with at least one finite element analysis (PLAXIS, ABAQUS) or pile design software (GRLWEAP, SPLICE, APILE, LPILE, SETTLE3D) would be a plus Willingness to learn and proactive mindset Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and offshore environments.
