Job Role:
* Leading, developing, and supporting the MIS team to ensure effective use of software systems across the organisation
* Managing software applications and ensuring licensing compliance, contract renewals, and vendor relationships
* Collaborating with business units to identify software solutions that enhance operational efficiency
* Overseeing software updates, ensuring timely upgrades, and integrating new features that improve business processes
* Ensuring data security and compliance, including GDPR and access controls, while maintaining data integrity and backup systems.
* Providing technical support, user training, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless system usage
* Developing reports and dashboards to inform business decisions and performance metrics
* Researching and implementing new technologies to keep the software landscape competitive and efficient
Skills and experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering preferred not essential
* At least 5 years in software management and vendor management
* Experience in ERP, CRM, WMS, and similar systems
* In-depth knowledge of software systems and managing vendor relationships
* Exceptional communication, project management, and team collaboration abilities
* Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
* Expertise in data security practices and managing backup solutions
* Advanced understanding of computer hardware, software, protocols, and systems
* Extensive experience working with large-scale systems and databases
* Comprehensive understanding of data security policies and procedures
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to simplify complex technical information to nontechnical stakeholders
* Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with strong project management expertise
