Electrical Engineer – Direct Air Capture Technology Location: Manchester, UK (On-site)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide expertise on electrical engineering interfaces, regulatory compliance, and grid connection requirements for DAC projects.
Evaluate and select key electrical components to ensure optimal performance, working closely with suppliers to understand specifications.
Act as the primary electrical engineering expert within project teams, offering technical guidance and innovative solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and process engineers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the DAC process.
Design and optimize electrical distribution systems at low and medium voltage levels.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering within industrial-scale carbon capture applications.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in electrical systems design, ideally within industrial processes, energy systems, maritime, or power industries.
Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems at low and medium voltage; experience in designing such systems is highly desirable.
Passion for clean energy technologies and a strong desire to contribute to the energy transition.
Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards.
