Temporary Occupational Health Support

Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday, normal working hours
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 5-6 months

NPPV Level 1 Vetting
NB: Police Vacancy - only for candidates with a minimum of 3 years continuous UK address history. Please note that this vacancy is subject to a strict security vetting procedure.
Your role is to provide efficient and timely support to the Occupational Health department.
Key duties:
1. Provide day-to-day administrative support, including arranging appointments, interviews, and greeting staff and the public when needed.
2. Prepare reports, slides, agendas, and meeting actions for senior People & OD managers; schedule and support meetings.
3. Upload and maintain accurate information across various platforms, including MS Teams, SharePoint, and other departmental systems.
4. Assist in the administration and delivery of the People Strategy and related projects, strategies, and initiatives.
5. Support key departmental processes such as Fairness at Work, Attendance & Performance, Recruitment, and Workforce Planning, while ensuring accurate management information is submitted for strategic decision-making.
Key requirements:
1. Must possess G.C.S.E’s Grades A - C, in Mathematics and English Language, or have proven relevant experience to a comparable level in numeracy and literacy.
2. Must be prepared to successfully complete all training and assessment required of the role.
3. Familiar with the principles of the Data Protection Act.
4. Must have previous experience of delivering high standards of service to internal and external customers.
5. Must have experience of collation and evaluation of information and the ability to elicit information through the research of systems.
6. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word for word processing and Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation and reporting.
7. Effective keyboard inputting skills enabling effective inputting and retrieval of data.
8. Effective written and oral communication skills.
