The Role:
Loughborough University is about to begin a project to reimplement its Unit4 ERP finance system (previously known as Agresso). This is a huge project which will have a large impact across the organisation. We are therefore looking to recruit someone for a full-time position, initially for a 2-year period, to work in our Corporate Systems Team and closely with colleagues in Finance to undertake assigned software development, business analysis, package implementation, and user support tasks, focused on the Finance ERP Transformation project.
About your team:
As part of the Corporate Systems Team, you will be joining 10 other IT software professionals. The responsibility of the team spans across the whole University and provides software development, technical support, and business partnering on large and medium corporate business applications.
This friendly team is responsible for providing expert support and development on a wide range of business solutions such as, but not limited to: finance, human resource, research management, library, estates, and facilities systems.
To be able to undertake this role you will:
* Be enthusiastic and experienced in developing software for corporate applications.
* Have an understanding and expert knowledge in analysing corporate information systems and business processes.
* Be eager to engage in a large strategic project and make a sustained impact on the future of the university.
* Be ready to learn new approaches, development tools, and work closely within a team of IT and Finance specialists to design and deliver new processes and software solutions.
