IT Supplier Manager – Salary Circa £50,000.

We are looking for an IT Supplier Manager to join our collaborative and friendly team to work with our major UK Life IT providers, to ensure that our providers operate within an agreed framework so that our customers can enjoy a seamless IT service.
A bit about the job:
In this role, you will work as part of a team managing technology and change delivery. You will provide assurance for specific controls and monitor the performance of one of our key IT providers.
Working independently and as part of the team, you will have responsibility for overseeing supplier delivery within a robust governance framework.
You’ll have a great support team from various functions to support you in delivering effective oversight!
Aviva operates a “smart working” policy meaning that we spend approximately half of our time working in an office this role is based in; Bristol or Norwich.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Aptitude for fostering positive relationships, preferably with key IT providers.
2. Excellent stakeholder management including senior managers, and ability to work well with others at all levels and clearly translate between the technology and business teams.
3. Ability to assimilate technical and business-related information and communicate appropriately.
4. Problem/dispute management skills to ensure any obstacles to performance are resolved.
5. It would be beneficial if you can demonstrate the following experience in Project Management or IT Service Management.

Starting salary £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
