An award winning family ran provider is in need of a Unit Manager to run 25+ bedded unit, newly opened. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a turnaround project which has made great strides to ‘Good’ already (including a £200,000 investment into the home!).
Key Responsibilities of a Unit Manager:
Assisting the deputy and home manager to run the unit, including standards, quality of care, recruitment, and training.
Staff appraisals, meetings and disciplinaries when required.
Ensure the smooth running of shifts.
Ensuring company policies are followed and adhered to.
Striving towards ‘Good’ with CQCUnit Manager Requirements:
Nursing qualifications and active pin – RGN or RMN.
Experience with elderly residents with Dementia.
Leadership / management experience
Open to on call and occasional weekend shifts.Benefits:
On target annual earnings up to £48,672 a year (including bonuses).
