The Sales Operations team supports the retention and growth of sales by supporting the external sales department, helping to optimise the sales cycle process to achieve operational excellence.
Purpose:
The purpose of the Sales Operations Advanced Apprentice position is to provide the successful candidate with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to become a successful Sales Operations professional. The apprentice will work closely with the Merchant Channels team and the Sales Operations team to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the sales operations process, from lead generation and qualification to customer relationship management and reporting. This position will provide the apprentice with the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop the skills they need to succeed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Scope:
The Sales Operations Advanced Apprentice role is part of the Sales Operations Department and reports to the Sales Systems & Business Optimisation Manager (TT/SGB-AD1). The apprentice also has an operational reporting line to the Merchant Channels Manager (TT/SGB-SD).
Key Deliverables:
1. Generate and qualify leads
2. Coordinate and respond to customer requests
3. Prepare and execute sales proposals
4. Track and analyse sales data
5. Provide administrative support to the sales and merchant development teams
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate must have:
Educated to a degree level or equivalent.

* Advanced level Microsoft Office skills (particularly MS Word and Excel)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Right To Work: please ensure you have valid Right To Work in the UK status for the duration of the contract term. This is a 2-year fixed term role.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunch break.
