The role of the Supply Chain Finance Manager involves driving the financial performance of the Northamptonshire Fulfillment Centre. This includes delivering financial analysis to understand the cost drivers across the fulfillment centre and providing commercial insight to aid key decision making across the senior management team.
Key Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Head of Finance and assisting in driving the financial performance and efficacy of processes
* Collating and reporting weekly volume, revenue, and gross margin accounting/operational information, as well as the day-to-day and month-end reporting
* Partnering with the operations teams to ensure the highest standard of customer services
* Preparing monthly management accounts
* Conducting financial analysis and maintaining financial models to monitor performance
* Utilizing core accounting skills and ensuring accuracy at all times
* Applying commercial acumen to assess key opportunities and potential risks that could impact the performance of the fulfillment centre
* Challenging the status quo to ensure processes are as robust as possible
To be considered for this role, you will need a qualified accounting background and relevant experience in a similar position. Ideally, you will have experience within the logistics/supply chain industry. You must possess excellent communication skills and be able to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. Advanced excel skills are also required.
