The Content Marketing Specialist will support the Content Marketing Manager in the creation of marketing content designed to appeal to different audiences from across the UK and International markets who are at different stages of their journey with us. The content will be wide-ranging, covering everything from social media channels (X, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram), blogs, newsletters and success stories to other digital content, such as podcasts, videos, animations and infographics.
The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and managing engaging content across various platforms to support the overall marketing strategy. This role involves developing and executing content plans, including social media campaigns, while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Other activities include analysing social media performance data to optimise content, interviewing schools, partners, senior management and other internal colleagues to create blogs and articles and supporting in the production of external and internal podcasts.
Content Marketing Specialist, what you’ll be doing:
You will be focusing on working to promote Renaissance and its products to enhance our sales strategy, which will include activities such as:
Content Creation and Management:
* Supporting the Content team and wider Marketing team in copywriting for blogs, newsletters, success stories, social media, emails and web pages.
* Interviewing schools, partners, senior management or other internal colleagues to create engaging content to be repurposed in a variety of different ways.
* Assisting in the planning, recording and publishing of external and internal podcasts using platforms such as Riverside and Buzzsprout. Monitor performance of external podcasts and liaise with the Internal Communications Manager for co-ordination and planning of internal podcasts.
* Creating and managing engaging multimedia content (text, images, videos) using Canva and other tools.
* Maintaining a social media content calendar that is aligned with events, product launches and marketing campaigns, as well as with school calendars.
* Owning and maintaining internal reference materials such as the Marketing quotes database – adding new quotes/testimonials for use by the wider Marketing team.
* Assisting with an annual audit of Marketing content and maintaining UK content book for use by Sales and Product Marketing teams.
Social Media Management:
* Working with the Content Marketing Manager and other key stakeholders to define objectives and KPIs for dedicated social media platforms, aligning with overall marketing goals.
* Developing and planning social media activity aligned to campaigns to achieve marketing goals.
* Drafting copy and creating supporting visuals that adhere to brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all company accounts.
* Overseeing the daily management of social media accounts, ensuring timely posts, responses and community engagement. Responding to tweets, comments and messages, where appropriate and co-ordinating with other departments when necessary.
* Supporting the Content Marketing Manager in tracking and analysing social media performance each month, using data-driven insights to optimise content and enhance strategy, and sharing findings with key stakeholders and the wider Marketing team.
Website and Marketing Operations:
* Working with the website team to publish new content such as news blogs, case studies, news items, success stories, and podcasts on company websites, as appropriate.
* Collaborating with the Marketing, Sales and Product Marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with company goals.
Other:
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal teams (primarily Marketing, Sales and Product Marketing) and external partners (e.g. partner schools, corporate partners).
* Undertaking ad hoc duties as assigned.
Skills and experience required:
To be considered for the role of Content Marketing Specialist you will ideally hold a degree in a relevant subject e.g. marketing/business, a first level marketing qualification and/or experience of working within a marketing/office environment.
Familiarity with the education sector would be useful, although not essential. The role requires self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised when required and to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication (oral, written and presentational) and organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a high level of responsiveness to colleagues and customers.
* Strong and confident knowledge of managing mainstream social media platforms including X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
* CRM experience and familiarity with email sender software, such as Marketo, social media management tools, such as Sprout Social, content-management website software, such as WordPress, and graphic design/video editing tools, such as Canva, are desirable.
* Ambitious and capable of prioritising/managing workload to meet milestones and deadlines; strong time management skills.
* Ability to take a hands-on approach and be prepared to learn and adapt to drive continuous improvement.
* A team player who enjoys working with others to support and achieve outcomes.

Additional information:
This is a hybrid-based role working out of our Vantage Head Office.
We offer a competitive base salary of between £30,000 - £31,000 per annum, plus amazing benefits.
