We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Upper GI (UGI) Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our team.
Using your expertise you will help provide vital advice and clinical intervention for this patient group. Promoting a seamless service within a multi-professional framework leading on service quality improvement, redesign and development. This will be achieved through the core dimensions of the role, clinical practice, leadership, and acting as the patient advocate.

Responsibilities will include:
• The day-to-day management of theUGIpatient case load, nurse led clinics, participation in ward based inpatient support, attendance at UGI MDT, collation and execution of management plans.
• Advanced skills in clinical assessment, symptom control and an in-depth knowledge of treatment modalities.
• To act as a key worker for UGI patients providing a link to multi-disciplinary team providing care for patients diagnosed with UGI cancers referred to MSEFT
• To provide specialist UGI cancer nursing undertaking specialist assessment of patients nursing needs, plan, implement and evaluate care delivery using expert clinical knowledge and clinical skills
