Client Details
Our client is an SME business in the logistics / transport sector with an approximate turnover of £20m. They are looking to bring accounts back in house from an external accountant and require support from an experienced and highly autonomous finance professional to join them on a permanent basis.
Description
* Overseeing all financial operations within the company.
* Working closely with Directors (including MD) and providing financial information to support future commercial decision making.
* Developing and implementing financial strategy and policies.
* Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Managing and forecasting budgets and cash flow.
* Preparing and presenting financial reports.
* Collaborating with other departments to inform decisions and strategy with financial insights.
* Managing relationships with banks and external auditors.
* Leading, training, and developing the finance team.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
1. Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ACA.
2. Excellent understanding of financial regulations and standards.
3. Good leadership and team management skills.
4. Confidence to liaise and present to non-financial stakeholders.
