Job summary This is a really exciting opportunity to join our Haematology Service at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust as we expand our team with a newly created trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) role. This is a band 7/8a post. You will be awarded the band 8a on completion of the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, which you will be supported to complete. We are looking to recruit somebody with significant experience in Haematology/Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation who is enthusiastic, motivated, pro-active and has the ability to work independently to provide high quality, patient centred services.You should possess excellent communication and clinical skills. The post holder will be working closely with the Haematology medical and nursing team including our clinical nurse specialist team and autologous stem cell transplant service. The role will include an 80% clinical component, leadership for service development, and quality improvement and contribution to education, research and audit are also expected as part of this role. Main duties of the job This job profile is for a trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) position, who will work under clinical supervision to meet the capabilities/competencies required for the job, outlined below. The trainee is required to work a minimum of 30 hours (0.8 WTE) as per Health Education / NHS England guidance.
