Key responsibilities include yield analysis, detailed analysis of production data, and implementing corrective actions to optimize product quality and efficiency.
* Experience with III V Photonic Devices, optical semiconductor devices, Laser, and related technologies is essential.
* Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and 6 sigma concepts for process development is required.
* Failure mode analysis, root cause investigation, and problem solving for product yield and quality are critical skills for this role.
* A PhD Degree in Physics, Optics, or related field such as Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Material Science is preferred.

Responsibilities

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
* A PhD Degree in Physics, Optics, or related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in optical device engineering or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of III-V semiconductor photonics device physics and manufacturing process.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
