An exciting opportunity has arisen in the LNWH NHS trust for a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Haematology to work in our newly formed Directorate of Oncology and Haematology based at Northwick Park Hospital (NPH).
The post includes funding for the successful candidate to apply for a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education at a UK University. The post will be split 50% education and 50% clinical plus the candidate will be on the haematology SpR on-call rota.

· Participate with colleagues in the continuous provision of haematology services provided by the Trust.
· Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team in the care of haematology inpatients and outpatients.
· To be expected to participate in the assessment of emergency patients in the accident and emergency department.
· To be expected to take part in outpatient clinics.
· To be expected to supervise and teach junior medical staff and students
· Expected to participate fully in the MDT, Clinical Governance and M+M. reviews.
· To participate in the haematology SpR rota (at the level expected of a new ST3 in haematology as a minimum)
