We are seeking a Revenues & Visiting Officer to aid with the registration, billing, and recovery processes for Council Tax and Business Rates within the Council's Revenues Service. These activities include:
1. Responding to customer enquiries,
2. Undertaking visits to properties to evaluate claims for exemptions/discounts,
3. Updating the database,
4. Making and monitoring arrangements, and
5. Undertaking the relevant recovery action required.
The successful candidate will have current or recent experience in a customer contact area, preferably with a Revenues background, and have a good level of IT competency.
