Company Overview:
Project Manager or an experienced Project Engineer required for a market leading process plant supply company committed to supporting their customers with providing effective solutions for air pollution control issues. They can offer an excellent opportunity to join a skilled and growing team, where you will play an integral role working on varied technical projects. This position will appeal to those wanting to make a direct impact on the development and growth of the company, with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Equipment design and specification, supervision of layout and detailed drawing development.
2. Production and monitoring of project programmes, cost management/margin uplift where possible.
3. Management of resources, liaison with subcontractors and suppliers.
4. Handle multiple international projects from contract to completion in Air Pollution Control, typically involving Thermal Oxidisers, Carbon Adsorption Systems, Filters, Scrubbers, and ancillary equipment with a typical order value A£250,000 to A£5,000,000.
5. Liaising with clients and suppliers to establish accurate time frames and budgets.
6. Working out of the UK office and with extended resources globally.
7. Report to Business Director.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Project engineering experience.
2. Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
3. Experience of managing projects related to process plant equipment.
4. Willingness to travel in the UK and internationally when required.
